NEW MURAL BY SWEET UNO

Cédric Pintarelli, known as SWEETUNO, has been active as a graffiti writer since 1989 and established himself in the Basel scene of the 1990s. He combines classic graffiti style with individual typeface development. After training as a typesetter and graphic designer, he furthered his work during his acting studies in Freiburg. Since 2002, he has lived in Heidelberg and Mannheim, where he also works as an actor and director.

His play "Sky's the Limit," about the graffiti movement, was performed as a staged reading with Felician Hohnloser at the HALLENKUNST Opening Weekend.

SWEET UNO is currently dedicated to the combination of graffiti and painting, as can be seen in the recently completed mural at Leipziger Straße 63, a work created within several murals entitled "writing without letters." He creates abstract forms and lines inspired by his surroundings, relishing the freedom of the creative process.

The work, like all previous murals, corresponds to SWEET UNO's contribution to HALLENKUNST 2025, on display at the Markthalle Chemnitz, daily from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. until October 12, 2025!
