THE OFFICIAL EXHIBITION CATALOGUE

First of all, we would like to apologize for the long wait. But now the time has finally come: what originally began as the ambition to publish a classic exhibition catalogue has evolved into an elaborate book project. A publication that not only documents the storytelling of the exhibition and the overall project, but in parts continues it.

Today, we are therefore not merely presenting a catalogue, but rather a cultural-historical document that goes far beyond what could be seen at the Markthalle Chemnitz between August 28, 2025 and October 12, 2025.

The structure, layout, content, and thematic focus of the book have all been completely rethought. The aim was to deepen, refine, and expand the storytelling of the 1970–2025 Timeline exhibition as well as the group exhibition by adding further layers and perspectives.

And here it is at last: the official HALLENKUNST catalogue.

480 pages, bilingual (German / English), over 700 photographs, a black linen-bound hardcover with glossy black hot-foil embossing — complemented by a double-sided dust jacket offering two possible cover variants.
